Yinshi Shanfang
Yinshi Shanfang is a health restaurant interior located in Shanxi, China, covering 600 square meters. The design moves away from traditional Chinese restaurant interiors and uses the natural texture of wood and stone with simple soft furnishings. Large areas of wood veneer give the space a pure and natural character. Irregular hollows on both sides of the gate create effects of light and shadow at night. A rockery forms the backdrop of the service desk, and a waterscape faces the teahouse in the waiting area to help guests relax.
Yinshi Shanfang Restaurant by Kingdom Kuo has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Yinshi Shanfang Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
