Deyi Design
Deyi Design is an office interior created for a design company in Xingyi, China. The project covers 1300 square meters and includes an entrance hall, a reception area and an open office area. The main materials are ceramic tile, coated glass, wood board, metal, art cement and latex paint. A ceiling form built from discarded computer motherboards leads to a hand-made metal relief wall that becomes the background of the front desk. Black and white floor tiles create a horizontal rhythm. Classical, modern and loft elements are combined around a people-oriented idea.
Deyi Design Office by Zhenhai Zuo has been highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Deyi Design Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
