Parallel Remolding
Parallel Remolding is the interior design of a sales center in Jinan, China, covering 500 square meters. The layout is open and integrated, so the different zones are linked without interfering with each other. Stone and wood are combined with metal within a neoclassical atmosphere, and simplified lines replace complicated carving. Light colors dominate the space, while the walls are shaped as three-dimensional geometric reliefs. The reception desk is largely blank and marked by metal lines. Repeated lamps are arranged to give the space rhythm.
Parallel Remolding Sales Center by Wei Gao was selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Parallel Remolding Sales Center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
