Elegant Artists
Elegant Artists is a residential interior design covering approximately 83 square meters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The plan includes a living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom with walk-in closet, a secondary bedroom and two bathrooms. The layout was revised, as the bathroom door was reoriented and the master bedroom wall was shifted to enlarge the space. Colors and materials follow gradation and rhythmic repetition, so the limited area is perceived as larger. White lining boards traverse the ceiling, walls and cabinets, while marble surfaces build visual layers.
Elegant Artists Residence by Hui Chun Yu was identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elegant Artists Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
