Home Scenery
Home Scenery is a residential interior design for an apartment of 88 square meters in Taipei. The plan holds a living area, a dining area, a kitchen, two toilets and two bedrooms. A raised stage forms the living area, finished in a light color scheme with soft timber to contrast with the monotone dining and working zone. Tatami flooring supports both quiet and social use, and the dining table stands beside a work desk for flexible tasks. Hidden cabinets under the tatami and behind the built-in sofa provide storage. Low formaldehyde and non-toxic materials are used.
Home Scenery Residential Interior Design by Chong-Ping Chiu has been featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Home Scenery Residential Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
