Family Cohesion is a residential interior designed for young couples with newborn children. The home covers about 191 square feet in Taipei, Taiwan. Black and grey lines and furnishings combine modern neatness with a sense of comfort. The living room forms the center of the plan and extends toward the other areas. Grey glass in the hallway increases transparency, while a trapezoid ceiling above the dining and kitchen area reduces the feeling of compression. All materials are non-toxic and eco-friendly, including imported paint, stucco and diatomaceous earth.
