Encounter

Encounter is an office space designed for a design studio in Fujian Province, China. The project places a quiet interior within a busy street block. The entrance is set back and opens laterally to create a buffer between inside and outside. A sunken reception and seating area gives a sense of visual dislocation and psychological enclosure. Curved door openings soften the straight lines of the plan. Glass walls blur the boundary between interior and exterior, and the space is supported by a single column. Materials include micro cement, steel plate and clear glass.

Central City Park

Rsun Central City Park is a sales center located in Xuzhou, China. The interior design follows the concept of the aurora and extends the architectural form inspired by the Grand Canal. A streamlined acrylic installation is suspended across the hall like a river of light. Tree-shaped pillars and multicolored glass in the mezzanine create a calm negotiation area. A white sand table in the form of an ark stands on a mirror-polished reflective surface. High-saturation green and pure white are used as the main colors of the space.

Rosefinch Hot Pot

Rosefinch Hot Pot is a restaurant interior of 400 square meters located inside a shopping mall. The facade is 50 meters long and follows a flowing curved form that recalls a range of low hills. Horizontal and vertical structural elements replace the usual box shape, and the arcs extend the space in the lengthwise direction. The reception area at the main entrance repeats the same flowing form, and the lighting suggests cloud around a hillside. Materials include black titanium stainless steel, rippled mirror stainless steel, terrazzo, marble, jade, brass, wood and leather.

Fine ceiling lines in renewable PVC wood grain and steel plates meet beige marble floors that extend onto the walls.

Air Box

Air Box is a residential interior design for a 275 square meter home in Hangzhou. A suspended box was built in the living room to divide the whole space into two parts. The unusual architectural form creates an indoor outside space, which becomes the main feature of the house. Black, white and gray tones give the rooms a pure and calm character. Marble flooring extends from the corridor to each area and adds a quiet texture. Lighting is used with restraint, and a simple glass door accompanies the wall.
