Artistic Private Mansion
Artistic Private Mansion is a residential interior design completed as a sample home in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The living room, dining room and kitchen share one axis and stay open to each other, yet each public area keeps its own defined field. Instead of solid partitions, an entrance arch, furniture and lighting mark the boundaries. Wood is used for the ceiling, furniture and cabinets to add warmth, while marble forms the television wall and one dining room wall. Mirror and wood panels soften the heavy look of the marble.
Artistic Private Mansion Residential by Han Chung Hung has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Artistic Private Mansion Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2018. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
