Urla Guest House is a spatial narrative where boundaries dissolve and fluid movement defines the architectural experience. Instead of solid walls, permeable layers allow light, air, and time to breathe through the structure. The raw simplicity of micro concrete contrasts with the warmth of natural wood, establishing a restrained language rooted in the landscape. Spaces connect seamlessly, inviting exploration where each transition reveals new perspectives. As daylight dances across surfaces, the interior becomes a living sanctuary shaped by atmosphere, material, and poetic continuity.
Urla Guest House by Aynur Kirduk was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Urla Guest House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
