Aera
Aera transforms a vacant commercial space into a warm and multifunctional interior that combines a bookstore, a coffee area, and a flexible community zone. Wooden pergolas define spatial sequences and support the lighting system, while wood finishes, greenery, and soft illumination create a calm atmosphere. Clear circulation, modular millwork, and fully accessible pathways ensure comfort and ease of use. The event area accommodates book clubs, film sessions, workshops, and social gatherings, allowing the space to adapt to different community needs.
Aera Bookstore by Silvia Schaeffer was recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Aera Bookstore won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
