Ripple
Ripple is a residential interior design for an apartment of 87.5 square meters in Taiwan. A wave-like ceiling flows through the living and dining areas, softening low ceilings and fixed beams while spreading light. The original four-bedroom layout was reconfigured into three bedrooms and a walk-in closet to improve flexibility and circulation. A curved glass wall links the kitchen and the entrance closet, and concealed double-sided cabinetry keeps storage out of sight. The master bedroom uses sound-absorbing panels and an insulated door for quiet sleep.
Ripple Residence by YU FEN LEE has been recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ripple Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
