Moroccan Elegance
Moroccan Elegance is a residential interior design for a 132 square meter home in Taipei, Taiwan. The interior combines Moroccan patterns with modern living. Solid wood, cast iron and patterned tiles create natural textures and warmth. A blue and white color scheme evokes a calm maritime mood, and handcrafted lighting fixtures highlight the artistic character. Smart lighting and temperature control add comfort, while eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient devices support sustainability. Through-display shelving suits the habits of cats while remaining easy for residents to use.
Moroccan Elegance Residential House by Jolan Hsiao has been identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Moroccan Elegance Residential House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
