Park Lane Complex
Park Lane Complex is a sales center in Dongguan, China, covering 2400 square meters. The interior takes cues from eleventh-century Chinese gardens, where spatial depth expressed wealth. Instead of copying traditional elements such as curved bridges and pavilions, the design divides the interior into stacked and overlapping volumes that create a sense of progression. Stone surfaces in green, teal and blue recall mountain textures, while gray and white tones echo the outdoor greenery. Several pathways allow the space to be viewed from different positions and heights.
Park Lane Complex Sales Center by Nic Lee was featured as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Park Lane Complex Sales Center earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
