Gift
Gift is a residential interior design for a 66 square meter apartment in Hsinchu. The layout is open, and a television wall separates the public and private areas. The interior displays a collection of Taiwanese raw wood and rattan furniture made by local carpenters. Wood tones, a light earthy floor and white walls create a calm setting. Coiled edges on the ceiling give the space visual continuity. A floor to ceiling corner window brings in sunlight and a view of the terrace. Grey-blue honeycomb shades replace cloth curtains.
Gift Residential by Yi Sheng Chang was selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gift Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
