Cozy Life
Cozy Life is a shared workspace created inside a street-side house more than forty years old in Taiwan. The long and narrow layout limited natural light, so partitions were removed and openings were cut in the floors and fitted with glass to bring daylight down from a rooftop patio. Recycled wood, glass and tiles preserve the nostalgic character of the old building. The first floor holds a cafe and a bar, while the upper floors hold a photography studio, separate work areas and a yoga studio that can also host exhibitions and talks.
Cozy Life Shared Space by Fei-Lung Huang was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Cozy Life Shared Space received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
