Nestwood
Nestwood is a gallery and office interior created as a shared space for creative industries. The interior covers 600 square meters over two floors. Generative design methods shaped the organic forms of the space. Robotic digital fabrication was used to build the complex geometry in marine grade stainless steel, glass fiber reinforced gypsum, marble and perforated aluminum. An organically shaped reception marks the entrance and is backed by a small bio-pond. A central atrium with naturally inspired walls and a staircase serves as a hub for exchanging ideas.
Nestwood Gallery by Z Square Group and Manifold Lab was identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Nestwood Gallery won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
