The Warm Days
The Warm Days is a residential interior design for a family home of 130 square meters. The scheme is based on harmonious and restrained tones with wooden materials. A movable dining table is matched with a kitchen island and shaped by a smooth curved line. A sliding door closes the kitchen while keeping the interior open and light. The clear height difference between beams and columns is resolved with sloped forms. In the master bedroom, the headboard panel uses an imitation water mold material, combined with dark green flannel and titanium-plated metal.
The Warm Days Residential House by Chung Yi Chun has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Warm Days Residential House won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
