Daylight Reflection
Daylight Reflection is a residential interior design for an apartment of 85.95 square meters on the twelfth floor of a new building. The Scandinavian scheme uses light white as the main color, with blue walls and marble in the living room and green metal and glass in the study. Black ash wood covers the entrance ceiling and continues onto the beams, which are lit by LED strips on both sides to guide movement. A glass partition adds a study room without making the space feel smaller. The wide beams also conceal the air conditioning and dehumidifier equipment.
Daylight Reflection Residential by Sheng-Fu Yang was identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Daylight Reflection Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
