Ship 79
Ship 79 is the interior design of a seafood restaurant with an area of 2800 square meters. The space recalls the cabin of a fishing boat to highlight the freshness of the seafood served. Warm yellow tones with natural wood and rattan create simple textures. Bent lines, a curved ceiling and U-shaped partitions echo one another. Semi-private rooms use hollowed arc partitions and rattan screens for privacy, while water corrugated glass partitions sparkle under the light. Booths by the window recall travel boxes and face the view outside.
Ship 79 Restaurant by Xiongbiao Luo has been recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ship 79 Restaurant won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
