Future Forest
Future Forest is a serviced apartment interior located in Guangzhou, China. The project covers 1000 square meters and belongs to a larger residential development. The design uses the metaphor of a 24-hour living theater to answer the varied rental needs of young city residents. Metal and acrylic surfaces are combined with strong red, blue, green and yellow tones, and layered blocks of color define each area. Shared rooms include a mobile gaming hall, a doll machine area and a quiet reading zone, so the apartment also serves as a social space.
Future Forest Serviced Apartment by OCEAN LUO has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Future Forest Serviced Apartment received the Iron A' Design Award in Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design in 2022. The A' Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that celebrates exceptional design of hotels, restaurants, resorts, cafes, bars, cruise ships, theme parks, travel experiences and more.
