Place Of Comfort
Place of Comfort is a residential interior design for a 117 square meter home in Tianjin. The design avoids complicated layered elements and returns to simple architectural aesthetics. A classic color palette and warm materials create a calm living environment. The main materials are ceramic tile, wallpaper, latex paint, stainless steel and stone. Wooden flooring and wood veneer give the bedroom a warm tone, and wide windows with matching curtains bring in daylight. The study room uses the same quiet tone to support work and reading at home.
Place Of Comfort Residential House by Yong Zhang was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Place Of Comfort Residential House received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
