Shimmer
Shimmer is a residential interior design for a 115 square meter home with four rooms in Taipei. White is used as the main theme, while wooden masonry flooring brings a warm and tranquil feeling. An open plan preserves the sense of space. A glass partition divides the study area and keeps a wide visual effect. Glass tiles are applied on both sides of the partition. Curved edges at the corners soften straight lines, and each element echoes a grid. Materials include leather-textured laminate, glass tiles and stoneware flooring.
Shimmer Residential by Chiyan Interior Design was featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Shimmer Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
