Cultural Eleganza
Cultural Eleganza is a residential interior design located in Taipei, Taiwan, covering 291 square meters. The home combines Japanese and Nordic styles through natural elements and a reduced number of accessories. A gray and white palette in the public area is balanced by wooden and earthy tones. A large wooden bookcase in the study holds books and art and echoes the television wall. Large windows and several balconies bring in daylight and fresh air. Open space in the living room is reserved for the artworks of the residents. The design aims at comfort and energy saving.
Cultural Eleganza Residence by Kai-Bo Chen has been selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Cultural Eleganza Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
