Duo Yun Xuan Art Center
Duo Yun Xuan Art Center is a coworking space located in Shanghai. The interior occupies an irregular building with narrow areas and limited daylight. The name Duo Yun means cloud in Chinese, and the concept is expressed through abstract curved forms placed on different levels. These curved forms mark the functions of each floor and also serve as installations for art activities. Three primary colors and geometric abstraction recall the Bauhaus without copying its aesthetic. A red perforated aluminum panel beside the escalator activates the underground atrium.
Duo Yun Xuan Art Center Coworking Space by Yushe Design has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Duo Yun Xuan Art Center Coworking Space won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
