Fuhome
Fuhome is a residential interior design for an apartment in Hung Hom with a useful area of 2,228 square feet. Two connected units were opened up and replanned into a layout of four halls and six rooms. The theme is a warehouse style, combined with the needs of modern family life. The plan includes an open kitchen, a play room, a laundry room and a shared room for three children. A sliding door with an iron mesh and black framed glass separates the kitchen and limits cooking smoke. Sliding doors also connect the shared rooms and the master bathroom for easy use at night.
Fuhome Residential House by Jan Ham was highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fuhome Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
