Zhongtian Starry Residence
Zhongtian Starry Residence is a 190 square meter residential showroom completed in 2021 in Changsha, China. The interior is inspired by the mortise and tenon joints of ancient timber structures and follows a simple, quiet and neat style. Light colored wooden furniture and clean lines create a natural balance within the living space. In the hallway, art ornaments are placed in the open sections of the porch cabinet, which enriches the layout and adds a display function. Reserved white space and cinnabar red accents give the rooms an oriental character.
Zhongtian Starry Residence Showroom by Sheng Menghua has been featured as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zhongtian Starry Residence Showroom was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
