Quality Makes Life
Quality Makes Life is a residential interior design project of 105.8 square meters completed in Taipei, Taiwan. The entrance is defined by a wooden lattice and a marble wall, and a vertical line acts as visual guidance. Stone and wood grains are mixed and matched in the public area. A base wall of light brown marble runs through the living room to unify the atmosphere. The sofa back wall is finished with a customized Italian paint and linear lights. A multi-purpose room is separated by a glass sliding door with a built-in light belt for privacy.
Quality Makes Life Residential Space by Ting-Chieh Su has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Quality Makes Life Residential Space received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
