Glamorous
Low Profile Glamourous is a residential interior design for a 250 square meter home in Taipei, Taiwan. Marble walls meet wooden floors, and woven carpets add softness to the warm setting. The living room removes the original divisions to form a larger area, where light gray walls contrast with dark floors. Matte floor tiles longer than the standard size are used. Leather sofas stand away from the wall for flexible use. The bedside wall of the main bedroom is finished in customized saddle leather for added texture.
Glamorous Residential Space by Te-Yu Liu Hui-Ching Chang was identified as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Glamorous Residential Space earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
