Joy Town
Zoina Joy Town is a sales office interior located in Urumqi, China. The project covers 3000 square meters and follows a natural and simple style. Warm gray stone, wood veneer, stainless steel, leather and wall covering form the main materials. A stone reception counter faces an art screen, so the entrance stays both natural and flexible. Local references such as Tianshan Tianchi, Nanshan Pasture and the Silk Road are refined into modern forms. Flowing carpet patterns and curved sofas shape a relaxed negotiation area.
Joy Town Sales Office by Chunlei Sun has been featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Joy Town Sales Office won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
