Rational Spirit
Rational Spirit is an office interior designed for an architecture firm in Taiwan. Wood, stone, red brick and iron are combined to build a clear brand image, supported by modern lines and deep colours. A large block made of a tree trunk stands at the entrance, where it guides movement and serves as a temporary waiting area. In the public work space, iron grilles cover the ceiling pipes, and waist height partitions with storage give privacy while allowing discussion. A world map is carved on the brick and concrete wall of the conference room.
Rational Spirit Office by Wen Feng Hsueh has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rational Spirit Office earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
