Rurutiki In White Earth
Rurutiki In White Earth is an office space designed for an e-commerce company in Puncak Alam, Malaysia. The interior covers 1105 square meters. The theme follows the story of a horse named Rurutiki running across a white earth and passing jungle, oasis and ocean scenery. Earth tones are used throughout, with wood, stone, plant, oasis, ocean and coral colors. Curved walls and ceilings repeat the arc of a horseshoe, shaped in plate moldings and finished with white cement plaster. Real and artificial plants are combined to create a calm and natural work environment.
Rurutiki In White Earth Office Space by Summer Chang Hin Cheong was featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Rurutiki In White Earth Office Space received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
