Collection
Collection is a residential apartment interior in Taiwan, planned to display the collections of the owner, who gathers wine, fashion items and artworks. The original three bedrooms were changed into one bedroom, one living room and one wine cellar. A double-sided cabinet at the entrance acts as a screen, a shoe cabinet and a display unit. A central bar counter separates the living room from the wine cellar. Materials include undecorated wall surfaces, stone, marble and titanium-plated iron parts. The open layout keeps each collection clearly visible.
Collection Residential Apartment by Hui Ting Wang was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Collection Residential Apartment earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
