Tinker Patches
Tinker Patches is a residential interior design for an apartment in downtown Taichung city, Taiwan. The construction area is 78 square meters. A white scheme extends across walls, ceilings and fixtures, forming a continuous backdrop. Sculptural curved shapes at the joints between walls, columns, beams and ceilings soften every corner and lead a wavy flow from the entrance into the depth of the home. Bright and pastel colors appear on furniture, shelves, thresholds and door frames. Wide windows bring daylight and a view of the mountainside.
Tinker Patches Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Tinker Patches Residential Interior Design earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
