Light Life
Light Life is a residential interior design created for a newly built house in Taiwan. The home was planned as a private and relaxing space for its owner. The layout was reorganized to answer the lack of natural light, with changes to the way doors open and to the floor covering, giving a more spacious feeling within a limited area. A kitchen island was added for wine tasting with friends and for gatherings of three generations. Soft furnishings, iron ware and titanium coated plates give the interior a refined texture.
Light Life Residential Space by CHUANG, HSUAN- CHENG was featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Light Life Residential Space earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
