Code Design Studio is an office interior created for an architectural practice in Indore, India. The workspace measures 11.5 by 10 metres and contains two cabins, an open work area, a reception and a conference room. Vertical surfaces are finished in exposed concrete, complemented by oak veneer, birch plywood, leather and stone. A parametric feature wall in the conference room is formed from cut birch plywood sections arranged in a wave pattern. A layout of lines and grids keeps the plan open, luminous and connected.
Code Design Studio by Rajat Sanghvi and Naina Reddy was selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Code Design Studio received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
