Mountain Tourism
International Mountain Headquarters is an office interior located in Guiyang and completed in 2019. The project covers 24960 square meters. The design links the interior with the surrounding landscape and forms a series of indoor and outdoor spaces. A layered atrium brings sunlight, air and greenery into the building and connects the floors. Load-bearing columns in the lobby widen at the top like tree crowns. In the lecture hall, an undulating wooden ceiling recalls the silhouette of mountains. The design follows the aims of ecological protection, energy saving and comfort.
Mountain Tourism Office by Xiongming Li was recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Mountain Tourism Office won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
